Welcome to the Health Hub!
Health Hub is a digital platform for high school students facing systemic barriers, including those from Black, Indigenous, Filipino, Latin American, racialized groups, or students who experience socio-economic challenges, to explore information on health professions programs.
Here, you can explore health science related information through multimedia forms such as podcasts and infographics. This content will allow you to learn from a variety of health science faculty and professionals!
This is a project developed by alumni from the University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine's Summer Mentorship Program - which runs each July - and University of Toronto Staff (from the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and Dalla Lana School of Public Health).
By offering an asynchronous platform, we aim to offer information related to health professions careers to current SMP and Medlinx students, as well as students that identify with populations that these programs reach.
